Fair Vote Waterloo will be making a presentation at the Green Learning Community.

Voting Reform Presentation and Discussion

Understand our options for voting reform with a presentation by FairVote Canada followed by a discussion. This was highly requested by people from our past events, and is a perfect event to invite others who would like to join and learn. The presentation format will make this very accessible.

The Green Learning Community focuses on “Green topics”, working together to grow our understanding and potentially spark positive action. Topics might range from voting systems to guaranteed livable income to local, sustainable food sources.

This series started in early February, examining the voting systems that could replace first-past-the-post in federal elections. The Green Learning Community is looking at the mechanics, other countries’ experiences and the potential impacts on Canadian people and parties. Now is the time us to make an informed impact on the changes being made by the Liberals!

The Green Learning Communities are open to everyone.
